Information and Tips – Fairfax County Crime Solves needs your

Hello Everyone,

Update on Grist Mill Park – The park has been re-opened and normal evening =
activities will go on tonight.

There are two upcoming events where you can support our Fairfax County Crim=
e Solvers!

First is the below 5k run/fundraiser…see below for the flyer, it is also =
attached to the document if the inserted picture gets blocked.

The second is our next Crime Solvers Document Shredding Event in Mount Vern=
on will occur:

Saturday September 28, 2013 from 9am – 12pm.

While the event is free, donations are being accepted and are welcomed- to =
support the very important mission of the Crime Solvers program.

Crime Solvers is a non-profit organization which relies solely on donations=
from local businesses and private citizens. No tax dollars are used for re=
wards. In short, Crime Solvers depends on you for the funds to pay those wh=
o provide the information that helps Crime Solvers fight crime!

Fairfax County Crime Solvers is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provid=
es
anonymous phone, email and text capabilities for the public to report crimi=
nal activity and wanted persons to police. Tipsters and their information =
are protected under state law. Cash rewards of $100 to $1,000 are paid out =
if a tipsters’ information leads to an arrest and/or case closure. All fund=

Remember – one important step in the prevention of Identity Theft is to mak=
e sure you shred any documents which contain any personal of financial deta=
ils, are applications to open or extend credit, old bills/invoices or old t=
ax returns.
